Wedding Day, Petaluma River and Marina

Labor Day weekend my beautiful niece got married.  We went to the wedding and then on Tuesday put the boat in at Petaluma Marina.  It supposedly takes about 2 hours to get to San Pedro Bay, but we never got there.  The wind was blowing so bad we turned around and came back. The  2nd and 3rd pics are of Bob and Morgan.   I don't think I will be staying at Petaluma Marina again as the bathroom and showers were about a mile from our boat.  We did go into the Petaluma Turning Basin (the 4th pic)and spent the night doing some shopping in downtown Petaluma.  That was fun as the drawbridge had to be lifted for us and that was something to see.  Although the boating didn't turn out that great we had a wonderful time with friends and family.  The pic right below is of me, my lovely daughter in law Colleen (right side) and Sarah and Kevin, the bride and groom.

2013 JULY 4TH PARTY

We got so busy in July with our vacation to N. Carolina that I didn't do a post for July 4th weekend.  The resort where we keep our boat has a July 4th boat parade and we decided to join this year.  Below are some pics of our boat and the grandkids Hannah and Christian.  Hannah is quite the ham as you can see.  They had a great time decorating and riding around with the other boats.
